Dr. Azima Rashidova

Dr. Azima Rashidova is a Specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Marina & JBR branches of Medcare Medical Centre. She obtained her MBBS and Master's Degree with Honours in Medicine and Surgery both from the Samarkand State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan. She further completed her PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the same medical institute. She is a member of the Obstetrician-Gynaecology Association of Uzbekistan. Dr. Rashidova’s long career as a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology spans many prestigious hospitals and clinics across the UAE. Her extensive experience in her chosen field and compassionate nature make her very popular with her patients. Her area of expertise focuses on managing ante and post-natal patients, high-risk pregnancies, recurring miscarriages, IVF pregnancies, issues related to menopause, endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, breast disorder, chronic gynaecological diseases, and gynaecological endocrinology. Under cosmetic gynaecology, she has conducted labiaplasty, laser and surgical vaginal tightening and whitening including plastic surgery for keloid scars. Dr. Rashidova is passionate about resolving issues related to infertility, contraception, family planning and paediatric gynaecology. During her leisure hours, she likes reading, travelling and cooking. She speaks many languages such as Arabic English, Farsi, Russian and Turkish.
