Dr. Almaari is a highly experienced consultant in internal medicine and endocrinology. Prior to joining Mediclinic in 2011, he worked at Zayed Military Hospital where he was in charge of the Endocrinology department and developed an advanced Diabetes unit and began insulin pump therapy. He has been a member of the Al Ain Diabetic Group, which is focused on Diabetes research, since 1996. He is also involved in postgraduate teaching of the Arab board residents of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
